Harry Braswell, President
A native of Old Town Alexandria, Harry graduated from the University of Virginia in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. After serving as a superintendent for Paul J. Mathis for three years, Harry began doing independent restoration work in the Old Town area and in 1982 formed Harry Braswell, Inc. As President, Harry keeps actively involved in the company by overseeing the day-to-day business operations, ongoing projects, and bids. (harry@harrybraswell.com)

Thomas Klotz, Residential Additions Project Manager
Tom graduated from State University of New York in 1990, with a B.P.S. in Architecture. He then attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute for two years. Tom worked for Fina Construction for seven years as an assistant to the owner. He has experience in project design, drawing take-off and estimating for residential construction. Tim Jones, Residential Additions Project Manager
While growing up in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, Tim began work as a carpenter's helper, progressing over the years to lead carpenter, and in 1991 he was promoted to Project Manager. He has spent most of the last 30+ years in residential remodeling, specializing in high end custom projects. Currently he oversees the construction of many of Alexandria's most prestigious homes. Gretchen Brown, Designer / Estimator - Residential Remodeling
Gretchen, a graduate of The Art Institute of Houston, has over 10 years of experience in residen-tial interior design and remodeling. Prior to joining Harry Braswell, Inc., she worked with some of the most notable interior designers in Houston and Washington, D.C. Since joining the com-pany in 2001, she has helped clients create personalized space planning and has guided their fixture selections based on their individual needs. (gretchen@harrybraswell.com)

Theresa Barnett, Designer / Estimator - Residential Remodeling
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She has over 14 years experience in project management, design and estimating for residential and commercial construction using a variety of materials and methods. She takes great pleasure in assisting clients to visualize and obtain the improvements that will maximize the function and comfort of their living and work spaces. (theresa@harrybraswell.com)

Mary Denby, Designer / Estimator - Residential Remodeling
Mary received her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 1998. Before joining Harry Braswell, she worked with several highly respected architecture firms specializing in educational facilities. After moving to Alexandria, she began working in residential architecture. Her background spans from residential renovations to master-planned new communities. Ken Wright, Residential Remodeling Project Manager
Ken has been in the construction industry for 20 years, and has extensive experience in carpentry, masonry, roofing and siding. Prior to joining Harry Braswell, Inc., he was a self-employed general contractor for six years. For the past four years, Ken has managed the operations of the residential remodeling and home improvement division. (ken@harrybraswell.com)

Justin Baird, Commercial Project Manager
Justin is a graduate of Colgate University and Brooklyn Law School. He is presently managing the renovation of fifty-eight historically significant homes in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, as well as overseeing the completion of the Old Town Alexandria Waterfront restoration. (justin@harrybraswell.com)

Erin Hoopes, Kitchen Designer
Erin has a degree in Interior Design from James Madison University. Her strong sense of views, colors, and beauty combined with her organizational talents help her guide clients through an ideal kitchen remodeling experience. This allows her to join the aesthetic with the function in each remodel. Jonnie Hicks, Office Manager
Jonnie attended Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in Accounting. She has 25 years experience including working for an electrical contractor and completing real-estate courses. For the past 14 years, she has been responsible for all the accounts receivables/payables, project invoicing, office personnel, and the company insurance/payroll. (jonnie@harrybraswell.com)

Martha Malouff, Administrative Assistant - Accounts Payable/Payroll
Martha has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, and has taken additional courses in Accounting. She has over 16 years of experience in all areas of ac-counting, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and customer relations. Heather Scruggs, Administrative Assistant - Accounts Receivable
Heather graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Marketing Education. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in Information Technology marketing and accounting. Kim Carr, Administrative Assistant - Special Projects
Kim completed her B.A. at William and Mary and her M.A. in counseling from Southeastern Seminary. Prior to joining Harry Braswell, Inc., she worked in both new construction and insurance restoration, working with homeowners and insurance companies on natural disaster related repairs. Currently, Kim assists with soliciting and compiling bids for commercial projects, company recruiting, and marketing. (kim@harrybraswell.com)

Nancy Dinnin, Administrative Assistant - Residential Remodeling, Plumbing, and Tile
Nancy has over 35 years experience as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining Harry Braswell she was employed at Canac Kitchens, Ltd. She is currently assisting the Production Manager and Sales staff with customer service and scheduling, including the remodeling, plumbing, and tile divisions. (nancy@harrybraswell.com)
