“Mr. Wright was unfailingly professional throughout (for what everyone I must expect) is a very stressful experience. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of construction remodeling. When Mr. Wright explained something why something could (or could not) be done, I always felt he was giving me accurate information, and the best advice. Mr. Wright was honest about costs, and would suggest alternatives to expensive change orders that clearly needed to be done. I had confidence he was fair and honest in all his dealings with me. He was 100% responsive to the dozens of questions and concerns that came up throughout the process. He was consistently polite, and kept his sense of humor when things sometimes did not go well. “I have had occasion to see my neighbors on South Lee Street more over the last few weeks, and I have been getting a lot of unsolicited compliments about Dick and the guys working on my house. Given my initial concerns about neighbors' reactions to construction in their literal back yard, this makes me feel very good -- and should make you feel even better. The [homeowners] on either side of me think the world of Dick. Both sides claim the work has been going very smoothly -- and when there are issues, they discuss them with Dick. Even neighbors farther away from the house have commented on the professionalism of the workers, their courteousness and consideration, and cleanliness. One neighbor said that it has been the least disruptive and intrusive project on the street, which is saying a lot since just about every house on the block is under construction. My experience has been very positive as well. I give Dick a lot of the credit, but also Tom is superb to work with -- responsive, creative in solving problems, determined to get the best outcome when I know it is a sometimes extra time and headache for him, and I trust him completely, which is a desirable relationship to have with your contractor -- but apparently not such a common one. “We had 5 different builders bid on our plans. We used your very detailed bid as the basis for an ‘apples to apples’ comparison. As it turns out, several things were missing from the other builders’ bids, and by the time we called them and included things, the bids came to within $3000. Yes, they could have said they would do the project “at that original price,” but the quality of things used would not have been anywhere near what we have experienced. We decided in the long run that the $3000 difference was well worth the price for Tom’s extreme attention to detail that was evident then throughout the entire project. We went into the process very positive about what we would experience and were not let down one bit.
